Don't judge a book by its cover comes to mind. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room lovely. Only bad thing: no dishcloth to clean cups and plates
Stayed here twice now.Always very clean and comfy.The only 2 things I can say would make it 5 stars would be a curtain between the toilet and shower. And better t.v. reception. But apart from that excellent.Thanks see you later on in the year..
Standard brick motel type. Does the job, and it's clean and very reasonably priced. Couldn't connect to the internet and some of the TV channels didn't work --fixable. About a kilometer walk to the town which is good for a leg stretch after a day driving bit a bit far if you don't like walking. Not fixable. All good. Not bad.
Excellent. Huge rooms. Sold cold beers at the reception. High powered shower and effective, QUIET air conditioning.
We stayed here two nights ago and it was such a pleasant surprise to find how spacious our accommodation was. Despite the spaciousness, our room was well heated, warm and cosy on this mid winter night. The host, Greg, was welcoming and friendly, the bed was comfortable, the layout of the spotless modern bathroom area was clever and worked well for us. We were in Room 13 and did not hear road traffic noise at all during the night. The cleanliness of the room and the bathroom could not be faulted. The light coloured green and white bedspread too was spotless and fresh, which is not always the case with the dark coloured bed coverings in many motels. Two large oval plates, two mugs as well as two cups, cutlery, a microwave, kettle & toaster made it easy for us to make a light snack to enjoy in the room. We had a great stay at the Mayfair Motel and would definitely stay here again the next time we are travelling through.
