Partner and I stayed here for only one night in mid January but it was great The bed was very comfortable indeed and the ensuite suited us perfectly. On arrival, our bags were very kindly carried upstairs by our host, and breakfast routine was very well explained on arrival. We chose continental due to our early start. Situated right in the centre of town, it was easy walking distance to everything we wanted, and with the temperature in the 40's, the respite offered in the room from the AC unit was very much appreciated.Make sure you try the service in the cafe also. Coffee was great and staff very hospitable. Seriously, this place is worth a visit. Thanks to Brent and staff. Derek R
Great little B&B. Wonderful decor, super comfy beds and really friendly service.
Beautifully decorated turn of the century charm, with art-deco finishes, high ceilings and big old leather armchairs.
A beautiful stay. Quite the oasis. Nice owners. Good food down stairs. Prices have jumped lately, otherwise they'd have top marks. This accommodation easily ranks in the top decile for rural Australian accommodation.
We stayed overnight on 2 Jan, 2018. Easily the most beautiful overnight stop we have ever had in Australia (and almost everywhere else.) These converted solicitors chambers have been furnished and redecorated in tasteful luxury, with so very comfortable beds, huge bright bathrooms, and large spaces for kitchen and living room (both shared). Everything was spotlessly clean and in good repair. Organic vegetable based toiletries in bathrooms and kitchen were a treat too. Management could not have been more helpful or kind.Don't miss out on eating at the Paragon caf underneath (where you check in). Really top class food in this tiny town (which you can have brought upstairs to the chambers if you want), and you also can buy all the organic, vegan and quality food, cosmetics and even hemp based products you might wish for.The stairs (single flight) were a little daunting to look at, but not actually a problem. The manger offered to help with luggage if it was.The shared lobby for the queen room and its own (not shared) bathroom doesn't have a door, which might bother some people. Wasn't an issue for us as we were the only people there. The King room is a proper ensuite. All the rooms have a bathroom of their own. Would be a perfect place for a large family or group travelling together. The beds were so comfortable, we were late leaving because we slept so well :)If we had the smallest reason to stay in West Wyalong for more than a night, I would jump at it. As it is, Mentor Chambers is on my permanent "must stay" list.
